A School for disabled children has raised more than £1000 for a soldiers' charity
Pupils and staff from Chailey Heritage School in North Chailey, near Lewes, joined forces with local businesses to raise funds for Help for Heroes.
The school now hopes to reach the £2000 mark by the end of term.
Ten pupils visited Jupp's Fish and Chip Shop in West Street, Burgess Hill, to thank owner Martyn Jupp for collecting money on their behalf. Mr Jupp and the Pet Shed in Church Road have been collecting donations from customers.
